FAI-3000 filter

This multi-purpose aerosol-sorbing filter is designed for integrated removal of radioactive iodine aerosols and iodine organic compounds from the air. The filter can be installed instead of an aerosol filter in a process ventilation system of a nuclear power plant where the system design does not provide for radioactive iodine adsorber filters or in systems where radioactive iodine adsorber filters have been continuously operated for over five years. The filter can be mounted in a DU-350 cover or a chamber, or can be used as a filter element in filtration units.
