Description
UFAIPE filtration unit
UFAIPE aerosol iodine filtration units are designed for integrated removal of radioactive aerosols and radioactive iodine and its compounds from gas-air mixtures. FAI- and FVEA-type filters are used in the units as filtration modules. The unit is used to ensure habitability of control rooms in emergency situations involving the release of harmful substances in the nuclear power plant area, resulting from man-made accidents (emergencies involving the release of radioactive aerosols and gases by an NPP into the air; fires at NPP; detection of toxic substances in the air around air intakes).
